Beijing Opera

On the 23rd of February, Mum and I went to watch a Beijing Opera. That day, it was a Saturday, I had to go to the show when my cousin was here. I thought : Damn it, have to go even when cousin was here... But I changed my mind after that.

Getting there, was a headache...We had to wait for the bus for some 7mins till we managed to get one. We then arrived at the Aljunid MRT station. We dashed up the stairs as fast as we could. Then we got a shock and nearly fainted...

THE NEXT TRAIN ARRIVES IN 7 MINUTES TIME

I almost plopped down the stairs 1 by 1...


We then dashed down again to get a taxi. Our hearts were pumping like crazy. We got a cab and then went speeding down the road. {{{{{{{{{{{{{


We reached the Victoria Concert Hall after several minutes. We dashed all the way to the Concert Hall, and plopped into our seats, just in time...phew!!! And the show began.



First, there was the extract from 'Madam White Snake'. Next, there was another ghost story 'Taken Alive'. Lastly, there was an extract from 'Journey to the West'. In between 'Taken Alive' and 'Journey to the West', there was a short break. A 20 min break. Mum and I went to the vending machine to get each of us a drink. A 100 Plus and Coca-Cola We finally had something to lubricate our dry throats.

Well, all ends well ends well! We had a whale of a time!
