I had a wonderful time watching the martial arts show on the 14th of Febuary. This is how it started...
My mother and I were rushing hurriedly to the Esplanade,Theaters on the Bay. That night, there was a show called 'A Touch of Zen' My mother and I hurried into the theater and slumped down into our seats.We then waited for another five miniutes and the show started.
The show was about the Ao family. They were running away from the vicious militiamen. Along the way, the father was killed and the mother left their infant son, Ao Xiang, outside the temple. Ao Xiang was then rescued by the Zen master and the Zen master took him as one of his diciples.
I loved the story, especialy the accident in the show. Ao Xiang was sweeping the courtyard with the master. However, when Ao Xiang waved the broom, the broomhead fell off ! Everyone giggled and squealed with laughter, and watched as the diciple continued sweeping the floor with his broomstick!
To correct such mistakes, it is important and essential to check all props before the comencement of a show. The next time Ao Xiang used the broom, he took the broom that the Zen master was holding.
