Korea trip (Part 5)

At first, we had breakfast then we went to a Ginseng Centre. There, we learnt about the ginseng and its stages. Ginseng (人参) is a person-like Chinese herb that helps with cooling. Since no photography was allowed, there were only a few pictures.
After that, there was a shop that sold Dong Chong Xia Cao (冬虫夏草), a Chinese medical herb which is a type of grass with a bug inside. We were amazed by it. We bought quite a lot of products.

We had ginseng chicken 4 lunch. The steaming chicken made us salivate profusely. This was my first time eating ginseng chicken.

We then went to a kimichi school. We went there to make kimichi. We were given the already ready ingredients to make the most common type of kimichi, cabbage kimichi. The teacher told us exactly how the ingredients and how they are made. Kimichi does not rot, it only gets more fermented and sour.

After that, we saw a show on traditional Korean dances and songs. The traditional music was absolutely wonderful.

Soon, dark fell. We headed to 7 Luck Casino. The lights were attractive, but there was nothing much we could do. Hence, we were taken to the PlayStations to have a few hours of fun.

Soon, we went to Namdemun market. Lights were flashing away. Side stalls and shops filled the street. We bought a few light snacks and two ice-creams with an unbelievable height: 35 cm!!

We were soon overcomed by fatigue. We reached the hotel and did the same as usual. (Read Korea Trip (Part 1-4))
