Korea Trip (Part 2)

Next day, we had a buffet for breakfast and took a stroll round the hotel.

After that, we had a walk to the nearby Seoraksan National park and took the cable car up Mt Seorak.

We climbed like for 10-20 mins to reach the nearly-top. Dad was the only one who went to the peak.

After coming down, we headed on to the nearby temple. The guide said that the original temple had been burnt down and the monks rebuilt it at its current position.
There was a stall selling roof tiles. We bought one and penned down our wishes and lined them up with hundreds of others to make them come true.
After that, we went on with the guide to explore the area and get to know more.

After all that was lunch, which was...another steamboat... WF slept throughout the whole lunch.
zzz...zzz...zzz..
Soon, we were on our way to the ski resort. On the way, we did ski wear rental. It was all heavy parkas, snow pants and all that. The tour guide demonstrated how to put on the ski boots and the pair of skis, how to take them off, how to use the sticks etc. We went out of the shop, half confident, half unsure.

We saw many wonderful scenes. There were some strange buildings, frozen waterfalls and so on.
At dusk, we finally reached the ski resort, YongPeong. The wind was bitter and bone-chilling. I did long for a hot bath.

We had another grill for dinner and went round the resort. Bought some stuff at a nearby FamilyMart and went back to hotel room. The usual, bathe, change, a little of CNN, and lights out. zzz...zzz...zzz...zzz
